Welcome to our school website. At Weston Turville, we provide a nurturing and stimulating environment underpinned by Christian values, where our pupils achieve their best both personally and academically. Our school Christian vision is at the root of all we do and is the basis for our curriculum design and decision-making process. This means that everyone is treated with dignity and respect because we acknowledge their God given value and unique identity. Children are encouraged to be inquisitive and confident to question the world around them. They readily embrace new challenges and learn about the importance of perseverance and resilience. In designing the curriculum, we create exciting learning opportunities to inspire the children and ignite their curiosity. Our parents and extended families are fully involved in school life and support us in many ways. From raising funds for extracurricular activities to accompanying classes on school trips; the support is invaluable. We are extremely proud to be at the heart of the wonderful Weston Turville community and hope to see you soon.
From the Headteacher, Ms Fitzpatrick, the staff, governors and families of Weston Turville CE School.
“Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up, and its faith, hope and patience will never fail.”
1 Corinthians 13 v4-7
The school mission ‘to pursue wisdom within a Christian ethos’ is evident throughout the school, and your six core values – respect, honesty, perseverance, fairness, kindness and trust – are central to this.
