Each year our Year 6s find out which secondary schools they are going to in March.  During the Summer Term their induction begins.  First some of their secondary school teachers visit them here and talk to their Year 6 teachers.  Then they start some transition work, and finally they all visit their secondary schools in early July and spend a day, and sometimes two, there.  

We give our Year 6s a great send-off at the end of the year, and many of them come back to visit us in the Autumn Term bursting with news and wearing their new school uniforms.  We are always delighted when some of them come back to us when they are older for their work experience placements!
